Terms and Conditions

These terms are an agreement between you and Waqqas Jabbar ("we", "us"), who runs Sitaray. By creating a family, joining one or using Sitaray, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Sitaray. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your family's data.

1. Who can use Sitaray

Parent accounts are for adults (18 or older) who are a parent or legal guardian of the children they add, or who have that parent's permission. Children use Sitaray only through an account a parent sets up. By adding a child, you confirm that you can consent for them. You're responsible for how the children in your family use Sitaray.

2. Your account

Keep your password, your family code and your children's PINs private. You're responsible for what happens under your family's accounts. If you think someone else has got in, change your password and tell us. Give us accurate details, and keep your email address up to date, so password reset links reach you.

3. Beta and free of charge

Sitaray is in beta and free to use. Features may change, appear or go away, and there may be bugs or downtime. If we ever introduce paid features, we'll tell you in advance, and nothing will be charged without your clear agreement.

4. Stars and rewards

Stars are points within your family. They have no money value, can't be bought, sold or exchanged for cash through Sitaray, and can't be moved to another family. Rewards are promises between you and your children: you decide them and you provide them. Sitaray doesn't hold money, pay allowances or deliver goods. If you use money as a reward, it is paid by you, outside Sitaray.

5. The family assistant, suggestions and prayer times

The family assistant, the wizard and the library suggest tasks and rewards. The assistant is an AI: its suggestions can be wrong or unsuitable, so use your own judgement as a parent. It isn't a doctor, psychologist or counsellor, and it doesn't replace professional advice. If you're worried about your child's health, wellbeing or safety, talk to a qualified professional. The assistant changes nothing until you confirm.

Prayer times are calculated from your city using the method you pick. They are approximate. Check them against your local mosque or authority.

6. Integrations

Integrations such as Nayatel Guardian are run by other companies, under their own terms. We aren't responsible for their services, and an integration may stop working if they change theirs.

7. Your content

Your family's tasks, rewards, names and messages remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run Sitaray for you, as the Privacy Policy describes. If you publish a task or reward to the shared library, you also let other families see it, copy it and change their copy, along with your family name. You can unpublish it at any time, but copies already made stay with those families. Don't publish anything you don't have the right to share.

8. Fair use

Please don't:

• use Sitaray for anything illegal, harmful or abusive, or to harm a child;
• try to get into accounts or families that aren't yours, or test Sitaray's security without our permission;
• overload, disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or use bots to access it;
• publish to the library anything offensive, misleading or containing anyone's personal details.

We may remove library content, or suspend an account, that breaks these rules.

9. Copyright

Sitaray, including its software, design, text, the starter library of tasks and rewards, and the name and logo, is © 2026 Waqqas Jabbar. All rights reserved. You may use Sitaray for your family as these terms allow. You may not copy, sell, republish or build another service from it without our written permission. Content that other families publish to the library belongs to them.

If you believe something in Sitaray infringes your copyright, email us with the details, and we'll look into it and remove it if it does.

10. Feedback

If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them to improve Sitaray, with no obligation to you.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using Sitaray at any time, and ask us to delete your family's data as the Privacy Policy explains. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or close Sitaray altogether. If we close Sitaray, we'll give at least 30 days' notice where we can, so you can ask for a copy of your data.

12. No warranty

Sitaray is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we give no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for any particular purpose. That includes the assistant's suggestions, prayer times and integrations.

13. Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Sitaray. Since Sitaray is free, our total liability to you is limited to PKR 5,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell parents in the app or by email before a significant change takes effect. If you keep using Sitaray after that, the new terms apply.

15. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan decide any dispute. If you live elsewhere, you keep any consumer protections your local law gives you.
